It’s like Ben Simmons has made up his mind to make life harder for the Philadelphia 76ers. It all began after Game 7 of the EC semifinals of last season where the Sixers faced elimination. And now, it’s been four months, and there is yet to be a solution to this fiasco.

However, former Philly legend Charles Barkley seemingly feels that Philly has been too nice to Simmons, which the latter has taken for granted. Perhaps the franchise now needs to give Ben a taste of his own medicine.

Here’s what Barkley suggested they do, to put an end to this.

A quick recap of the most recent updates in the Ben Simmons fiasco

Ben Simmons has really dug a huge hole for himself. A disappointing performance in a season is something a player can recover from by working hard. But it won’t be easy for Ben to change people’s perception of him after the way he is has been treating the Philadelphia 76ers. Every time, especially when the 3x All-Star showed up at practice, the fans thought the situation is under control, he ended up misbehaving.

Then, he did not show up for the Detroit Pistons game and invited a hefty fine. However, it seems like losing millions isn’t a wake-up call for the point guard at all. In short, the team has tried to reach out to him in plenty of ways, but there has been no effort from his side.

Now, with another update in the Simmons saga, Charles Barkley had a very angry reaction.

Charles Barkley has had enough of his tantrums

On an episode of TNT, host Ernie Johnson revealed that Simmons met with someone that the team had appointed and is now willing to cooperate as well. On listening to this, Former NBA legend Charles Barkley lost his cool.

Barkley ended up narrating the entire ordeal, and how Philly has gone above and beyond to level with him. “This dude has done everything he can not to be re-recruited. They started off the season begging him to come back, so they have massaged him Shaq,” said Barkley.

“They wanted to go see him. He said, ‘Don’t come see me’. He came and then acted like a je*k in practice. They wanted him back. Then cause he wanted to get paid, he came back and started acting like a je*k and they kicked him out…They gave him another chance, they said, ‘Okay you got some issues, he said I don’t wanna see your guys.’ They start fining him again, now he’s back,” he added.

Finally, he gave the organization an advice and expressed, “They’ve bent over backward to kiss this dude’s a**, now they start kicking his a**. There are only two you kiss somebody’s a** or kick their a**.”
