The Warriors trio have won their 4th championship in the last 7 years. Steph finally won a Finals MVP award, adding more to his accolades. The trio is now considered one of the greatest in history. Behind this success was the young core of the Dubs.

Jordan Poole, GP2, Kuminga, and Wiggins had a great season. All these guys put their all in on defense as well as on the offense. Not only that but they are of great help when Steph and Klay are not there. Their support has been massive, to a point where Tracy McGrady believes that the big three don’t have to take as much load anymore.
The Golden State Warriors have a bright future
The Dubs didn’t sit around the last two seasons. Those couple seasons were a great time for the younger players to adapt to the league. Andrew Wiggins was traded to the Warriors, as he played with young guys like Poole and Wiseman. The Dubs solidified their core with shooters and great defenders.
When Durant was playing for the Warriors, the team had veterans on the bench. Now 3 years later, their young talent seems to be their future.

Jordan Poole is a shooting backup, whereas GP2 brings the energy on the defensive end, Wiseman will be the big man and Kuminga is the dominant force. Whereas, Wiggins will be the veteran presence.

T-Mac believes that with these young guys taking on their roles perfectly, the trio can relax. “… if you keep those five guys, they bring those young boys back that can play for 38-40 minutes a night, Steph, Klay, and Draymond can just chill. 32 minutes a night and then turn it on in the playoffs, because the way they groom these guys, player development, they’re going to be really scary.”, said McGrady.

As these guys now have a championship season experience, it will be interesting to see whether they can slowly adapt to playing the same game with the trio sitting on the bench.
