“Zion [Williamson], considering his game, particularly his ability to get to the basket; he’s got a 3-point shot and he can hit a set shot, not a jump shot. He can hit free throws, he’s got a little nice stroke, can improve defensively. I’m gonna give him a rating of 93,” stated Smith. In the 2020-21 season, the 21-year-old averaged 27 points for his side, showing maturity well beyond his years.

Meanwhile, Davis didn’t receive as high a rating from him. “I gotta tell you something, I’m gonna give him [Anthony Davis] about a 90. I’m not gonna give him higher than that, I know he’s a champion but he had a down year last year.” Along with this, Brooklyn Nets starlet Kyrie Irving was also ranked below Zion, with a score of 89. Yet, both Davis and Kyrie have been rated higher than Williamson in the actual game.
