The women in the family are no strangers to fame either, as they are often in the spotlight. With both Ayesha and Sydel married to NBA superstars, their personal achievements are often highlighted. The duo was in the news again as they recently sold their joint venture to a company worth $44 Billion.

In a recent post shared by Ayesha and her sister-in-law, the duo announced the sale of their Luxury Napa Valley Wine brand ‘Domaine Curry’ to Prisoner Wine Company. Sydel Curry-Lee first broke the news on Instagram by posting an article by the San Francisco Chronicle that announced the sale. Sharing the news with a caption that read “big, big things” Ayesha later confirmed the same by sharing Sydell’s story.
Bukky Ekundayo, the Vice president of Prisoner Wine company, had her own words for this acquisition. Bukky, who is also the General manager of the company, was elated by partnering with a “Black-founded wine brand“. And was more than happy to be working alongside Ayesha and Sydel, whom she saw as successful entrepreneurs.

This sale was also made public on Domaine’s website with a message stating, “Domaine Curry is excited to announce that we have been acquired by a notable woman-led powerhouse: The Prisoner Wine Company.”

Notable, the Prisoner Wine Company was acquired by Constellation Brands Inc. back in 2016. Constellation has a net worth of $44 billion so it is safe to say Ayesha and Sydel would have gotten a huge profit from the deal. It is a huge occasion for the duo especially considering Sydel’s comments regarding Ayesha not getting her flowers.

Sydel recently showed her support for Ayesha believing that it was harder to make a name for herself due to Steph’s success. Speaking about the same, she said, ” When you’re in the position that Ayesha is in, people will always attribute your success to your husband.” A point made in reference to Ayesha not getting her flowers.
