The Golden State Warriors are through to the second round of the playoffs. They advanced to the Western Conference semifinals after beating the Denver Nuggets in 5 games. Stephen Curry was ecstatic after winning a series in the playoffs after a gap of 2 years and he was seen celebrating with his daughter. And fans loved it.

Curry started the game after coming off the bench in the last four games. He was coming off an injury, and the Warriors wanted to get some strength back. And he has been spectacular. Curry averaged 28 points in 30 MPG and the Warriors dominated the Nuggets. He went on to hit the shot to clinch the series.

After the series victory, he was ecstatic and had a little fun with his daughter, Ryan Curry. They did their handshake and did a little dance before Curry went back to the locker room.

The Warriors entered the fourth quarter after trailing most of the game. But they rallied to knock out Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. They won game 5 and officially closed out the series 4-1. They will either take on the Memphis Grizzlies or the Minnesota Timberwolves in the next round.

The Warriors opened the fourth quarter with an 18-7 run and this gave them their first lead in the second half. The Nuggets were held scoreless for four minutes but they eventually broke that streak. But by then, it was already too late.

Curry and Gary Payton II combined for 9 points late in the game and the game was out of reach by then.

The reigning MVP, Nikola Jokic put on 30 with 19 rebounds and 8 assists. Meanwhile, DeMarcus Cousins had his postseason career-high with 19 points. Curry led the way for the Warriors with 30 points while shooting 5 of 11 from the three-point line. Klay Thompson added 15 points and 9 rebounds.
