Fans usually refer to Stephen Curry as one of the greatest shooters of all time in the NBA. The sharpshooter enjoys a unique ability and vision to score three-pointers. As a talisman for the Golden State Warriors, Curry sometimes single-handedly wins games through three-pointers from range. Curry commented on his confidence to attempt such shots beyond the arc.

He reflected on his determination to land such difficult shots, which are high-risk, high-reward situations. Curry was speaking to Michael Wilbon in an interview on ESPN’s ‘NBA Today’, where he also discussed other aspects of the Warriors’ season and the all-time 3-pointers record.

Wilborn quizzed Curry if he considers any attempted shot like a bad shot. Curry said, “You guys about to say one that doesn’t go in. No, no, because you know if I’m taking a shot there’s a confidence that I can make it.” He further commented on his three pointer partnership with Klay Thompson, saying, “I feel like we both have like an irrational confidence of like shots that we can’t take and make.”

Curry is currently on a mission to score the highest number of three-pointers in NBA history. The current record belongs to NBA great Ray Allen, who sits first atop the list with 2973 three pointers. Curry sits second on the all time three pointers scored list with 2940 points having passed Reggie Miller, who sits at third with 2560 points.

Curry began his NBA career in 2009 with the Golden State Warriors. A two time NBA MVP, he has won three NBA titles with the Warriors. Curry has won two FIBA Basketball World Cup gold medals with the US national team.

Stephen Curry and the Warriors lose to the Phoenix Suns

The Golden State Warriors suffered a disappointing defeat against the Phoenix Suns in an away game. DeAndre Ayton led the Suns, scoring 24 points followed by Chris Paul, who scored 15 points. Jordan Poole scored 28 points for the Warriors as Curry had a quiet game, scoring only 12 points.

The Warriors will face the Suns once again when they host them at Chase Center next.

A seven game winning streak of the Warriors came to an end as the Suns clinched their 17th straight win. The Suns triumphed to a 104-96 win over the Warriors at Footprint Center.
