Stephen Curry Explained the Rush of “Having Your Own Signature Product” Like Michael Jordan

One of the best players in the world since the past decade is Stephen Curry. The Golden State Warriors superstar is famous for his three-pointers and exciting gameplays.

Apart from his exploits on the court, Curry is also involved in a lot of activities out of it. Thanks to his business ventures and endorsements, Steph is one of the wealthiest athletes in the NBA and beyond. Talking in an interview, Curry talked about the feeling he has of having his brand.

According to him, it is crazy to have one’s signature product and represent it on the basketball court in front of the whole world.

Stephen Curry needs no introduction to the basketball world. He is officially the best shooter ever with the most number of three-pointers to his name. Apart from that, he has won the NBA title 3 times alongside various other individual accolades.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the Golden State Warriors star man talked about building his brand.

Steph said, “It’s crazy. Having your own signature product, a shoe that I get to wear on the court and other people get to wear it with me and go along with the ride and the story.“

He adds, “We had Jordans growing up. My first ever shoe I remember playing in was a Vince Carter shoe. You dream about having your own and now it’s the fourth version, so we are getting better.“

Curry further adds why the fourth version of his shoe is the one that is the most personal. According to him, he got to be a part of the design process and he left a mark on it.

His shoe comes under the popular brand Under Armor. The point guard revealed the latest Under Armor Curry 9 during the NBA media day. The beautiful sneaker features a two-tone look with the signature SC30 logo printed in the shoe.

Thanks to ventures like these Stephen Curry has a net worth of around $160 million according to Celebrity Net Worth. He is also the highest-paid player in the league with an insane salary of $45,780,966 with the Golden State Warriors. (Source: ESPN)
