Stephen Curry Finally Responds as Warriors Teammate Joins Lakers in Surprising Move

Stephen Curry and Juan Toscano-Anderson have been teammates for two years. Anderson came into the squad during the hard times. Now, he has left it when the NBA trophy has come rolling in. Curry led them to their 4th trophy in eight seasons. But surprisingly, Anderson has left the Warriors to go to sunny LA.
The magic of the Lakers allured him away from San Francisco. Nonetheless, Curry congratulated his teammate on his new destination. He, too, knows the offer of playing with LeBron James doesn’t come easy. It will be extra difficult for Anderson, as he was born and raised in Oakland and was the hometown lad on the team.
Toscano-Anderson agreed to a three-year contract with the Golden State Warriors on February 6, 2020. He scored 16 points, an NBA career best, on February 23, 2020, while playing the Pelicans.

The Warriors released Toscano-Anderson on December 19, 2020. On December 22, however, they did re-sign him to a two-way deal. He received the 2019–20 NBA G League’s Community Assist Award on February 9, 2021, in recognition of his ongoing dedication to making a difference in the lives of kids and families all season long.

Toscano Anderson’s two-way deal was changed to a full-time NBA contract on May 13, 2021. He was the first NBA player of Mexican heritage to take part in the Slam Dunk Contest on February 19th this year. In 2022, while playing for the Warriors, he became the second basketball player of Mexican heritage to get an NBA championship ring. (Mark Aguirre, who had success with the Detroit Pistons in 1989, came before him).
