The Golden State Warriors 2021-22 season started on a high note, only to derail in the second half. Though they have clinched a playoff spot this year, Stephen Curry’s recent injury has dampened their chances. Though reports are in favor of a speedy recovery, Curry might end up missing the remaining regular-season games.

However, the Warriors and Curry haven’t lost hope.

The two-time NBA MVP seems confident about his recovery, looking forward to his return. Fans too remain hopeful, especially with Curry’s words.

However, as per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Curry will only return as the playoffs begin. The Warriors have also released a statement of their own, reassuring fans and stating that Curry will resume on-court activities soon.

Is Stephen Curry confident about the playoffs?

During a recent interview with Anthony Flores from NBC Bay Area, Curry spoke about his leg, and how their team will play the playoffs.

“It feels good,” Curry said while addressing his sprained foot. Curry’s injury came during the team’s game against the Boston Celtics on March 16.

Additionally, Curry admitted that he known these are in no way ideal terms to end the season. However, he has to be there for his teammates, get healthy, and make a return. He will be re-evaluated later this month on April 11.

“Everybody loves the bright lights of the playoffs and it’s nice we’re going to be back there after a two-year hiatus,” Curry said. “So I’m looking forward to it.”

What is Curry’s return date?

As of now, the team is yet to announce a comeback date for Curry. However, he does have a return date in mind. The eight-time NBA All-Star plans to return before Game 1 of the playoffs.
