The Los Angeles Lakers saw their playoff hopes go to ruins. With the loss to the Phoenix Suns, LeBron James saw his season cut short. It is evident that James was upset as he stormed off the court. In addition, in a recent interview, he also expressed his desire to team up with Stephen Curry. But it seems Steph isn’t interested.
LeBron and Curry have always been going up against one another. Their competition in the NBA finals ran for several years as they competed for the title of best in the league. However, in recent times, their relationship has improved.

LeBron James and Stephen Curry not happening anytime soon
While on the recent episode of ‘The Shop’, LeBron spoke about his dream players for a team-up. While Bronny and Luka made the list, he was particularly fond of Steph. He said he is lethal as soon as he gets up. But Curry has his focus strong with the Warriors with a straightforward answer.
Curry said: “I’m cool right now.”

While Curry is set with the Warriors, the duo of LeBron and Steph would run havoc in the league. With the King’s spacing, Curry would benefit the most. As the three-point king, LeBron would only add to the shooting prowess Curry holds. In addition, James could collapse the defense with his dominant interior scoring. The King’s ability would only see Stephen Curry get more open looks.
Also, Curry can make an impact without needing the ball in his hand. With the spacing and passing skills that James carries with him, the duo’s ceiling would have no limit.
