Stephen Curry hilariously trolled Hollywood superstar Denzel Washington on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show.?The 3-time NBA champion participated in a game of shooting random objects at the basket with the famous actor.

Denzel Washington is one of the most popular and critically acclaimed actors in the world. Therefore, he is quite the familiar face on late-night television.

But he wasn’t ready for the surprise he received on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He had to compete in a shooting contest with the greatest shooter of all time.

Stephen Curry joins Denzel Washington and Jimmy Fallon’s shooting contest

It is customary for the guests on The Tonight Show to play some kind of game once in a while. Therefore, Denzel was not surprised when Jimmy arranged a shooting contest with random objects.

Both Jimmy and Denzel had to shoot from an array of random objects lying on the table to score a basket. The person with the most points wins.

The objects included a butternut squash, one bowl of cranberry sauce, a skateboard, a folder full of legal documents, and a VHS copy of Denzel’s 1998 movie He Got Game.?Soon both Jimmy and Denzel started shooting these objects towards the basket making a mess in the process.

After they had thrown all the objects except the VHS tape, Jimmy declared he has injured his wrist and needed a replacement. The replacement was none other than 2-time MVP Stephen Curry.

Denzel was taken aback by this pleasant surprise. But he embraced Curry and welcomed him to join the game.

Despite facing a tough opponent in his own game, Denzel appeared pretty composed. As a matter of fact, he even gave Steph a butternut squash to warm up.

But Steph didn’t seem keen to return the favor. He took the VHS tape of Denzel’s movie He Got Game and said, “What is this? Is this-I’ve never seen one of these“.

He Got Game is a 1998 sports drama film directed by Spike Lee, starring Denzel Washington and Hall-of-Famer Ray Allen.

Meanwhile, the audience burst out in laughter at Steph’s joke. Denzel seemed to join in as well.

Steph, whose favorite actor is Denzel, immediately apologized and hugged his hero.
