Stephen Curry Joins Tristan Thompson, Larsa Pippen and Many Other NBA Stars in Celebrating Mother’s Day in His Own Way

As fans watched Game 7 between the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers with excitement, the rest of the world celebrated another major event; Mother’s Day. On this special occasion, the NBA community honored the special women in their lives who raised and inspired them on and off the court. NBA stars like Stephen Curry, Tristan Thompson, and Scottys Pippen Jr. had some great plans to show gratitude towards their mothers.

Stephen Curry hopped on Instagram to reveal what he had for his special ladies, while Larsa Pippen, mother of Scotty Pippen Jr., shared her Mother’s Day present on her social media handle as well.

The 4x NBA champion has been a family man ever since he stepped foot on a basketball court. He has often stated how lucky he is to have a wife like Ayesha in his life, supporting him throughout his journey to becoming a global icon. The Chef made sure to give Ayesha her flowers on Mother’s Day.

The Warriors superstar posted a couple of photos on Instagram of Ayesha with their 3 kids. The caption read, “RR+C Don’t know how lucky we all are to have Mommy holding us down. Always! We Love you to the moon and back. Thank you for the unconditional love you pour into our babies.”

Not only Curry, but Larsa Pippen got a beautiful bouquet of flowers from her kids on Mother’s Day and she made sure to thank them on Instagram. She also shared a picture with her four kids with the caption, “Love my kids so much.

Tristan Thompson had a unique plan for the day. Thompson lost his mother, Andrea, to a heart attack in January this year. The Lakers center, on his first Mother’s Day without his mother, planned to release doves with his kids. Thompson wanted to honor his late mother and her sacrifices for a better future.

Stephen Curry’s latest sneakers are dedicated to the important women in his life

The Warriors point guard debuted a new pair of shoes and dedicated it to the important ladies in his life. Curry released the Under Armour “Curry Flo Tro ‘Mother’s Day'” colorway to celebrate the special day and all the mothers. The upper part of the shoe is in grey color on which roses are printed in pink color. The roses represent the flowers as props to the mothers for loving their kids unconditionally.

On the shoe, the names of his wife Ayesha, his mother Sonya, and the other influential ladies of his life were written. Curry’s wife Ayesha, on her Instagram story, posted some family pictures, celebrating the day with her daughters Riley, Ryan, and her son Cannon Curry.
