Just a day after his win, Curry posted a Tweet with a picture of him pounding a drum. However, it was no ordinary drum. It contained an image of Michael Jordan crying. Safe to say, this tweet sent NBA Twitter into a frenzy.

Golden State Warriors star man Stephen Curry is a born winner. The former MVP recently won his 4th NBA title in 8 years as the Dubs got the better of the Boston Celtics in the 2021-22 NBA finals.

Although he might have not faced many final defeats in his career, when his favorite NFL team lost the Super Bowl 50, he could relate to Michael Jordan. When the Denver Broncos got the better of the Carolina Panthers, Curry posted a meme of him pounding a drum with Jordan’s crying face on it.

Curry narrowly misses out on a historic title
Stephen Curry was in another league of his own in 2016. He averaged 30.1 points, 6.7 assists, and 5.4 rebounds during the 2015-16 season. These phenomenal numbers earned him his second MVP award.
After getting the better of the Oklahoma City Thunder led by Kevin Durant, the Warriors faced a familiar opponent. They faced LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Dubs went 3-1 up on the series as everyone wrote off the Cavs. That’s when something historic happened. The Cavs led by LeBron and Kyrie Irving won 3 straight games to clinch the 2016 NBA title. LeBron etched himself in the history books as he won his 3rd NBA title, averaging 29.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 8.9 assists.
