It was a tough match for the Houston Rockets against the Golden State Warriors. Having Stephen Curry on board, the Warriors put on an extremely great performance, resulting in their victory. Against the Rockets, the game ended 122-108 at Toyota Center. For both teams, it was their second meeting in a total of twelve days. 

The players performed well this time as four of them made double-digit scoring performances. Moreover, Andrew Wiggins and Curry led the team to victory, taking their winning streak to six.

In the end, Curry’s performance was exceptional, surpassing Kobe Bryant’s record of 20-point quarters in NBA history. In response to a question about his performance and his record, he said, “Man, that’s nice.”

In particular, after he scored 21 points, a career-high in the fourth quarter. Curry’s performance caused the Rockets to struggle in the fourth quarter.

Curry, however, was the second player after Bryant to top 20 points in a quarter before the Rockets match. As a result of last night’s match, Curry is now at the top of the charts, followed by Bryant. On the third spot of most points scored in a quarter is James Harden with a total of 25. In addition to Harden, LeBron James ranks fourth with a total of 24 counts.

When it comes to Curry’s stats at this point in the game, he does represent a very high standard. However, the Warriors are the ones who benefit from his performance the most. That is evident by their standing in the league.

Aside from that, he also recorded nine assists, five rebounds, one steal, and one block. During the last six games, the Warriors star has averaged 23.5 points, 8.0 assists, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.8 steals.
