The Golden State Warriors have found themselves in massive trouble with the recent injury of their leader Stephen Curry. As per reports, Curry suffered a left shoulder subluxation during the game against the Indiana Pacers on December 14. Recently, NBA Insider Shams Charania gave an injury update on Curry, claiming that the Dubs superstar could go through an “aggressive rehab” due to lingering concerns regarding his injury.

Charania provides serious update on Curry’s injury

Stephen Curry suffered the injury during the final moments of the third quarter during a 125-109 loss against the Pacers. He has missed two games so far since his injury, one against the Philadelphia 76ers and the other against the Toronto Raptors. He is likely to be sidelined for a month as he continues to rest and recover off the court. Recently, Shams Charania reported on ‘FanDuel’, that Stephen damaged the labrum in his left shoulder which could hurt the Warriors in a massive way.

During the show, Charania revealed that Curry would not have to go through surgery and will be resting for a couple of weeks. However, the NBA Insider added,?“And then, he is gonna have a really aggressive rehab because he’s got to retain a lot of strength in that shoulder.”

Charania reckoned that Curry is on course to a tough rehab session in an attempt to gain his strengths. Moreover, he reported that the Golden State Warriors were optimistic about Stephen Curry’s injury. The NBA Insider believed that the franchise hoped to bring Curry back on the court in a month. However, Charania also laid out the challenges for the Warriors without their superstar leader.

At the same time, Charania warned that the eight-time All-Star could easily re-injure himself if he came back too soon. The NBA analyst continued, “That area can get reaggravated pretty easily if you, if you kind of short circuit your return period.”

Meanwhile, Charania praised the Warriors for their impressive 126-110 win against the Toronto Raptors, despite the absence of Stephen Curry. However, he stressed that the next month could be quite crucial for the Dubs. The Dubs seemed to have gained some optimism after their recent victory. However, the road to improve their 15-16 record with their superstar guard missing will be a difficult one, as the season progresses.
