The NBA star released a statement reflecting that he is ‘proud’ of crafting a new signature Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Gentleman’s Cut.

The 35-year-old said, “This rich, complex and bold bourbon is the perfect offering to commemorate life’s great occasions, and will be part of a raised-glass toasting moment in the lives of my fans, friends and family.”

The statement also revealed Curry’s involvement in every stage of building the product, as the press statement quoted, “Intimately involved.”

Though most aforementioned NBA stars such as Michael Jordan (Cincoro Tequilla) and LeBron James (Lobos) have gone for hard liquor, ‘The Beard’ opted for a wine business. This is very rare however, Harden has his own reasons for venturing into the wine business.

In an interview, the star said, “I’m getting a little older, so the hard liquor is very it’s very different difficult to recover from, so you know we looked into the wine.” He also hinted at the expansion of his brand in the coming years.
