Seth Curry discussed his time in Philadelphia with NBA players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson during the “ALL THE SMOKE” podcast, talking about Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, and his time with the Sixers. He talks about his draft to the NBA, his injuries, and how he improved his game during the year while practicing with his brother Stephen Curry.

In the podcast interview when he was asked about his draft point in the NBA and couldn’t get through that. Seth replied to this mentioning that he had injuries and was unable to compete with others. Furthermore, he spoke of having surgery during that time and being trapped in a situation that made it difficult for him to perform at his best level.

He said that he is pretty confident of his capabilities and his talent towards the game of NBA. While he shared a story about playing with Stephen Curry and practicing with him during the summer, he also stated, “If I’m Close to Him, There’s a Lot of Guys in the League That Can’t Mess With Me”. He is awaiting for the chance to compete at that level.

Stephen Curry’s support for building up his brother’s confidence and ensuring he’s at his highest level

When it comes to Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry and his brother Seth, their relationship has always been pretty close, as we have seen Stephen supporting his brother many times. In continuation of the podcast, Jackson asked Seth what he would choose as an option to play alongside him and his brother Stephen in a “Blacktop” game. Seth responded by saying:

“To the Blacktop, I’ve got my guy T-Mac – that’s my favorite player growing up. Give me, give me Shaq. And I mean, c’mon give me MJ. So, I got me, Steph, MJ, T-Mac, and Shaq. We gonna spread it out.”

Throughout his career, Seth has contributed to several teams, including the Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks, and Portland Trail Blazers. At this point, his game with the Philadelphia 76ers is going well.

According to his statistics with the 76ers, 2021-2022 championship this season, he is averaging 16.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists over 34.8 minutes a game over the course of 36 games.
