The Warriors have taken a 3-0 lead over the Mavs in the West Finals. The Dubs have come back after 2 years of injury setbacks and are rebuilding the depth of the roster. This series was always a battle of Luka Doncic versus Stephen Curry. But not just Steph, even Wiggins stepped up big time in game 3.

Doncic is the face of the next generation of basketball. Though fans feel that the current leaders of the league like Steph should be replaced by Luka, Curry believes there’s a limit to it. Steph has revolutionized the game with his 3-point shooting. Though is he to be taken lightly now that the young talent is stepping up.

Curry dropped 31 points in Game 3 of the West Finals. Luka did not back down, as he dropped another 40-piece on the Warriors. For the Dubs, Andrew Wiggins stepped up big time, putting up 27 points and 11 rebounds. Notably, after the game, Curry was asked if he got any motivation for the series as there were talks before of him being replaced by Luka.

For Steph, the only motivation was being back as one of the best teams in the West. Warriors now have a chance to hail as the kings of the West once again. It definitely would be as Klay Thompson, his splash brother is back and the Dubs have scorers like Wiggins and Poole. Though he respects Luka’s game, Curry said, “There’s a limit to how this goes.”

While Doncic is a great player who is not even 25 yet, Steph has his big share in the history of the league. Curry is the greatest shooter of all time and on top of that has great achievements to cement his legacy in the history books. The Warriors are facing the Mavs for the second time in the playoffs. Their record versus Mavs was decent, but the Dubs know their way around every team in the postseason.
