Seth Curry has been in the shadows of his elder brother for quite some time now. Despite being an NBA player himself, Steph’s brilliance on the court and his accomplishments overshadow Seth’s achievements more often than not.

Seth rejected a chance to play at Davidson college like his elder brother. Instead, he played for Liberty University and he was slowly establishing himself as a top prospect. Seth Curry’s college coach said, “He was better at creating his shot than anybody I’ve ever seen at 18 years old.”

However, an unfortunate injury ruined it all for him. With his NBA future looking bleak, Dell Curry and Seth’s agent devised a plan. He would play around 2 seasons in the D-League with the hopes of reaching the NBA.

In case that didn’t happen, Dell would’ve sent his younger son overseas in order to earn a living. Interestingly enough, Dell also once forced his wife, Sonya Curry to live alone. According to Sonya, she wasn’t allowed inside the house by Dell following their feud and cheating allegations from both sides.

Who did Sonya and Dell support when Stephen Curry took on his sibling?

It was a proud moment for Dell and Sonya as their sons took on each other during the 2019 NBA Western Conference Finals. Stephen Curry represented the Golden State Warriors while his younger brother, Seth represented the Portland Trail Blazers.

Interestingly enough, Sonya sported a Trail Blazers jersey with Seth Curry’s number 31 on the front with Stephen Curry’s number 30 on her back. On the other hand, her husband did the inverse. The Warriors made their way to the finals by beating the Trail Blazers with Steph Curry dropping a masterclass.
