Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry and his new celebration seem to have taken the sports world by storm. Top athletes from different sports have been using the celebration, and the latest one to do so was an FC Barcelona soccer star. And Curry seems to approve of it as his new move is being emulated all around the world.

The soccer season is about to begin and the pre-season friendlies are in full flow. And it was Barcelona who took on Juventus in a friendly. After Barca took the lead courtesy of Ousmane Dembele, he brought the ‘Night Night’ celebration which Curry had debuted in the NBA playoffs.

That celebration became really popular and Curry even hit it in Game 6 of the Finals where the Golden State Warriors put the Boston Celtics away to win the NBA title. And seeing Dembele hit his iconic move, Curry tweeted saying that he had started a movement.

Curry’s ties with Barcelona

This isn’t the first time Curry has linked up with Barcelona. Back in the 2016 Finals, their star Neymar Jr. visited the Warrior’s dressing room after Game 2. He met with all the stars of the team and even exchanged jerseys with Curry. Steph even had a few words with Neymar before parting ways.

Curry has also said that he is a fan of Barcelona legend Lionel Messi. He has always spoken highly of Messi whenever possible and has often called him a creative genius. He even sent Messi a jersey after he hit 30 million followers on Instagram.

Curry was also shocked when he learned that Messi was leaving Barcelona for PSG but regardless, he wished him well. Even the great Barcelona legend Ronaldinho has been in awe of Curry’s game and he has been seen with Curry a few times before. The duo even shared a photograph with each other.
