It is a sure lock that the third-seeded Sacramento Kings will be going up against the defending NBA champions, the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors, regardless of their season record have plenty of experience to take things up a notch come playoff time. So, when a Kings insider favored Sacramento over Golden State, a former NBA champion supporting Stephen Curry’s Warriors may have ended up offending Kings fans.

 There has been no doubt that the Sacramento Kings have been anything short of amazing this year. The trade they pulled off with the Indiana Pacers to send Tyrese Haliburton and bring in Domantas Sabonis turned out to be a huge win for the team.

Kyle Kuzma is out here supporting the Warriors

The Sacramento Kings managed to clinch a playoff spot after missing out for more than a decade. The last time the Kings were in the playoffs was in 2006. So, it is natural for fans to be hyped and excited about their hometown team.

And the Domantas Sabonis-Tyrese Haliburton trade which led to a lot of criticism for the Kings has seemingly worked out in their favor. The team has been on an absolute tear since the start of the season.

The fact that the Kings are playing so well, led Kings Insider James Ham to give a bold opinion. While on the ‘95.7 The Game’ sports station, Ham said, “I was in [Warriors] locker rooms, I know how great they are. The Kings offense, this year, was better than the Warriors offense in any of their great years.”

Now, whether that may be true or not but Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma did not feel that way. Kuzma went to his official Twitter account to say, “You guys annoy me with this logic and analytics lol kings offense real deal no doubt! but cmon man get real.”

Sacramento Kings fans tear Kuzma apart

Kyle Kuzma seemed to have been criticizing the playoff-bound Sacramento Kings, after the fact that the Washington Wizards did not even make the playoffs. Shortly before he criticized the Kings, Kuzma seemingly was apologizing to his own Wizards fans.

Kuzma was quick to call out Kings fans after his own disappointing performance but fans were not having it. One fan tweeted, “Stick to “fashion” bro bro.”

While another fan commented, “He was on the warriors locker room cleaning in the washroom, i guess he heard a lot back then.”
