The NBA world is gearing up for the All-Star Weekend next week. Fans cannot wait to witness a star-studded clash of the titans from around the league. Additionally, this time the All-Star weekend will also host the G-League players in their own version of an All-Star game. Meanwhile, four-time All-Star, Donovan Mitchell, doesn’t really seem to care much about all of this. In a recent Instagram post, the Cleveland Cavaliers guard revealed what he would be doing a day before the All-Star Weekend. Following his post, fans noticed a minute detail that made them excited about Mitchell’s plans.

Donovan Mitchell earned his fourth All-Star nomination this year. However, he plans to host a comedy show called DONS of Comedy in Salt Lake City on Feb 16th. Fans couldn’t help but notice the location of the event and claimed the former Utah Jazz star was still loyal to the Salt Lake City.

In a recent Instagram post, Donovan Mitchell announced the inaugural DONS of Comedy show starring Chris Spencer, Earthquake, and hosted by Deray Davis. The event will be hosted in Salt Lake City, Utah just a day before the start of the All-Star weekend. Fans were excited by the announcement and couldn’t help but notice that the event was hosted at the home of his previous team, Utah Jazz.

Mitchell is seemingly taking some steps for his entertainment, as he plans to take a sharp right from his daily routine of professional basketball. However, his comedy stint in Utah is probably a direct result of the Salt Lake City hosting this year’s All-Star Weekend.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers star is enjoying life at his new team as he gave some unbelievable performances this season. His performances have earned him his fourth consecutive All-Star selection and have helped his team to a comfortable spot in the conference.

Donovan Mitchell’s mind-blowing performances for the Cavs

Mitchell has been an anchor for the Cavs in his first full season with the team. The 26-year-old is averaging 26.8 PPG for the season, as the Cavs sit at the fourth place in their Conference. With 35 wins for the season and currently on a four-game winning streak, the sky’s the limit for the Cleveland side.

Additionally, Mitchell gave the best performance by a player in a game this NBA season. The Cavs star dropped 71 points against the Chicago Bulls earlier this season, dropping jaws all around the league. The 26-year-old was unstoppable that night and gave a sight to witness for the Cavs fans.
