The internet was in splits recently because of Shaquille O’Neal. The Big Man DMed a girl on Instagram and all hell broke loose. There were people questioning Shaq’s intentions, while others tried to spread link-up rumors between the two. Although the girl Shaq texted tried to clarify, nothing really helped the case.

Days later, the LA Lakers legend was seen in Home Depot. Notably, the girl who he reached out to works at a Home Depot as well so Shaq posting a clip of him in the store was hilarious. However, amidst all the controversy and rumors, the Big Man ended up breaking the rules of the store, just to find his love.

Ariana, the girl Shaq DMed is a content creator. She also works at a Home Depot store. One of her pictures where she is in her work uniform went viral. While several people gushed over her, others tried to troll her online. In regard to all the trolling and negativity, Shaq sent her personal texts, telling her that she should not pay attention to the negativity around her name. Although Shaq claimed that he did it with pure intentions and to comfort her amidst trolling, people tried linking up the two. The matter went so far that the 4x NBA champion had to address the issue under an Instagram post by DJ Akademiks.

Despite his explanation and reasoning, the rumors of their link-up never stopped. Shaq then added fuel to the fire by shooting a video inside a Home Depot Store. In the video, Shaq can be seen entering the store while audio from his NBA Draft plays in the background. Then, another Home Depot staff tells him, “She’s in the back.” This was meant to be about the girl who Diesel is allegedly pursuing. Later in the video, Shaq raps over one of his songs I Know I Got It. Now, even though the video and Shaq’s actions in the clip are hilarious, he is yet again alleged to be on the lookout for the girl.

Akademiks addressed the latest Shaq clip on his YouTube channel.

He said that this was a coverup from the Big Man for what he did. However, the streamer added that Shaq is a smart businessman as he turned this opportunity into something he can make money from. Akademiks said that every time someone pulls out their camera to film inside a store, someone yells “STOP FILMING.” This is because stores don’t allow people to film inside the premises. However, this wasn’t the case with the NBA legend.

Additionally, he also said that The Big Man is still trying to pursue Ariana.
