Recently, when one of Jordan’s teammates Scottie Pippen tried to portray himself as an unsung hero for the Chicago Bulls and the NBA, Jordan’s fans crushed the Hall of Famer on the internet.

Although Pippen’s post was not a direct dig at his teammate, he has been critical of Jordan in the past. That could be the reason why his “unsung heroes” post did not sit well with the fans of the great man.

The duo of Jordan and Pippen used to terrorize the league, especially in the 90s. They clinched six NBA titles, three-peating twice. While the problems within the team were exposed in The Last Dance documentary, not much was known about the dour relationship that the two legends share. Recently, Pippen called MJ a “horrible player,” giving yet another hint at how he sees the 6x NBA champion. However, this was not the first time when he has talked out of line about His Airness. It was obvious that MJ’s fans would not let it slide, which is exactly what happened.

Pippen’s post about him being an unsung hero didn’t help his case either. He posted a picture of himself with the caption, “From humble beginnings to 6 championships, 2 gold medals, Hall of Fame, and leading the Bulls franchise with the most playoff wins. Here’s to the unsung heroes… Cheers!” This was enough to tick off Jordan’s fans as they unloaded their anger on him calling the GOAT a “horrible player.” While most of the comments mocked Pippen for playing the “underappreciated” card, several fans made sure they take him up on his recent comment about Jordan.
