Barkley has also previously addressed his gambling blunders and how he regretted them. The Chuckster has admitted that he lost around $20 million because of the thrill that gambling offered. Barkley had previously admitted that gambling was a stupid habit but he had a problem. However, he also stated that it becomes more of a problem when you don’t have the money to gamble. And luckily for the 11x All-Star, that was never a problem. So it is understandable that after losing millions of dollars to it, Barkley still loves the activity.

While Charles Barkley was losing money in casinos, Jordan’s love for gambling became a subject of scrutiny and debate. In 1993, Richard Esquinas accused Michael Jordan of not paying a $1.2 million gambling debt. However, MJ denied the allegations and stated that he had only lost $300,000 to Esquinas.
While MJ refuted the claims, the accusation negatively impacted his reputation. It also affected Jordan’s peace, as he was questioned about the same everywhere until his father addressed the media and clarified the speculations on his behalf.
