While the Golden State Warriors were engaged in an intense face-off with the Los Angeles Lakers in the Bay Area, another crucial game was taking place all the way in the Big Apple. Just like the Warriors, the New York Knicks were trailing behind their opponent by 3-1 after Game 4. They needed to win Wednesday night’s game to stay in the championship race.
The critical event was attended by several big names from the entertainment industry including the Jonas Brothers, who were seen posing alongside Roger Federer at the recently held Miami Grand Prix. The grand racing event was held on May 7 and concluded with Max Verstappen’s victory. This was the second consecutive time that the Dutch-Belgian racing driver won the Miami GP trophy.

After losing two straight games against the Miami Heat, the Knicks had no choice but to push back harder or give up their championship dream. Much to fans’ delight, spectators witnessed the Knicks rise to the occasion and defeat the Heat by 112-103. Jalen Brunson led the team by dropping a game-high 38 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Teammate and star forward RJ Barrett added 26 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
While all eyes were trained on the on-court action, the courtside affair was no less entertaining to watch. Among the hundreds of attendees were several public personalities including Chris Rock, Emily Ratajkowski, Kal Penn, Paul Wesley, NBA legend Walt Frazier, and of course, the Jonas Brothers.

The impromptu meeting with Roger Federer
Only three days before making an appearance at the Knicks game, the Jonas Brothers had attended the 2023 Miami Grand Prix. The event saw quite a huge turnout of famous personalities. Therefore, it was no surprise that the trio bumped into tennis legend Roger Federer during their visit. Following that, the retired tennis veteran posed for a picture with the members of the pop-rock boy band.
