The NBA All-Star Celebrity game, like every year, featured a lot of known, big names. The captains for the two teams were Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade and Utah Jazz team governor, Ryan Smith. Another sight for fans to see was Milwaukee Bucks star, Giannis Antetokounmpo on the sidelines, rooting for Team Wade. What he did not know was the guest referee introduced in the second quarter of the game was mic?d up and his comments while fooling around may cost him later in the season.

Given that the All-Star weekend is taking place in Utah, it was only fair for a team governor and majority shareholder(Dwyane Wade) of the Utah Jazz to become the team captain. But what was a surprise to fans was NBA legend Richard Jefferson being introduced as an extra official before the start of the second quarter.

Giannis Antetokounmpo may pay the price for his remarks

Richard Jefferson started off the night at the broadcaster?s table. However, by the end of the night, he was in full uniform not only officiating the game but also reliving his past glory days from his time in the league.

As Jefferson was officiating the game, Giannis Antetokounmpo decided to have some fun with RJ. Antetokounmpo roasted an NBA official Marc Davis while talking to Jefferson.

‘The Greek Freak’ said, ?You’re out here reffing like Marc Davis and s**t!” To which, Jefferson replied, ?I’m mic’d up, bro!”

Fans were quick to point out how this small joke could cost Giannis some big moments during his games later on. One fan tweeted, ?Oh nah that devious man is gonna remember this for any bucks games he refs now.?
