The Metropolitans 92’s recent game against the Chorale Roanne took place on January 27 at the Palais des sports Marcel-Cerdan. Victor Wembanyama’s Mets have been on a three game-winning streak until it was stopped by the Roanne. Despite losing the game by 84-102, the 19-year-old basketball star’s blocking tactics was all fans could talk about.

The National Basketball Association’s Twitter handle recently uploaded a clip of Wembanyama applying said tactics and fans are going wild over it. The video shows Roanne’s Stefan Moody dribbling and going for a lay-up while Wembanyama could be seen facing one of his opponents in the completely opposite direction seemingly not paying any attention to Moody. However, just when the Roanne point guard jumped to make his shot, the ‘wonderkid’ turned around in split seconds and blocked his opponent from making the bucket.
