“That’s Exactly What a Liar Would Say”: LeBron James’ Admission About ‘Always Speaking the Truth’ Makes NBA Twitter Erupt in Chaos

LeBron James, along with Amazon Prime, brought his show The Shop to Thursday Night Football. TNF on the Shop is the name of this collaboration. In the first episode of this broadcast, LeBron James admitted to not being a liar. Nothing but chaos erupted on NBA Twitter following this confession. James, Maverick Carter, and Paul Rivera host TNF on the Shop.

The NFL launched this show with the intention “to deepen the fan experience through organic, and authentic conversations.” For the first episode, the guest list featured the stalwarts of LA Rams cornerback, Jalen Ramsey, Actor Jamie Foxx, Rob Lowe, and NFL wide receiver Dez Bryant.

During the episode, the four-time NBA champion suspected that Rams coach Sean McVay was supposedly stealing his ideas to make good use of Jalen Ramsey on the field. However, Ramsey dismissed this with a light-hearted comment. He said, “You know what they saying on Twitter man. They say you be capping.”

While the panel broke into a fit of laughter, LeBron repeatedly said, “I always speak the truth baby, I always speak the truth.” Following this confession, NBA Twitter didn’t hold back on their comments. Fans tweeted about how LeBron’s confession is “exactly what a liar would say.” Fans continued to call him a liar. Also, many were in shock that Ramsey called LeBron James out.

However, they were also glad that someone confronted James about this. Fans made sarcastic comments saying that James doesn’t lie.

Fans believe that LeBron James can sometimes end up speaking a lie or two. This began when James gave a public tribute to the late rapper Takeoff from the Migos trio. James declared he knew the Migos group would become a big entity in the music industry.

Additionally, he stated that he introduced his Miami Heat teams to the music the Migos made. But the issue fans had with this was, he claimed to have done all this in 2010. However, fans were quick to point out that the Migos were only formed in 2011. Looking at this discrepancy, Twitter instantly called LeBron out.
