LeBron James is arguably one of the best players to ever play the game of basketball. He has been an All-Star 18 times out of the 19 seasons he has played in the league. ‘The King’ has four championships under his belt. He also has four MVP awards along with four Finals MVPs to his name. Fans can see LeBron James putting in the work year in and year out throughout his career.

So it should come as no surprise to anyone if the players he plays against in the league praise him as well. One of the more recent players to join this discussion was Boston Celtics star, Jaylen Brown.

However, the Celtics-Cavaliers series was where LeBron James had his foot on the pedal. He bulldozered his way through the Celtics team and lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to victory. And to answer the question, Brown said, “That was the best form of LeBron that I’ve ever experienced since I’ve been in the league. That 2018 LeBron was special.”

The Celtics were a young team back then, with their core just starting to develop and take its form. If Irving hadn’t been injured, the Celtics maybe could’ve given the Cavaliers a run for their money in that series.

Even at 37 years of age, LeBron James is still going strong. He averaged 30.3 PPG, 8.2 RPG, and 6.2 APG last season with the Los Angeles Lakers
