In the star-studded 65th annual Grammy Awards, the Millionaire singer Beyonce broke the record for most Grammy wins of all time on Sunday. She grabbed her 32nd Grammy award breaking Hungarian conductor Georg Solti’s record of 31 awards. Even though the 41-year-old singer created history on Sunday, a former NBA star expressed his concern over a particular issue. He took to Twitter to express his opinion on Beyonce’s bittersweet marathon at the Grammy awards.

The Album of the Year award is generally considered to be the most prestigious award at the Grammys. Even though the star singer filled her cabinet with the most number of Grammys, she is yet to win an Album of the Year award. She lost in the category for a fourth time in her career on Sunday. Harry Styles won the award with his album Harry’s House.

Former NBA player points to bizarre Beyonce fact

Former Los Angeles Clippers star Jamal Crawford took to Twitter and expressed his disappointment after the Grammy awards ceremony. His tweet read, “No album of the year for Beyoncé after all them Grammys… that’s .. weird.”

Crawford recently retired after a 20-season-long career in 2020 playing for nine different franchises in the league. Currently, he appears on TNT’s NBA broadcast show alongside Shaquille O’Neal and Candace Parker. He has made several bold claims in recent times through the show.

Meanwhile, Beyonce walked into the 65th annual Grammy awards with nine nominations including Song of the year and Album of the year. However, she grabbed her awards under the categories of Best Dance/Electronic album for Renaissance and Best Traditional R&B Performance with Plastic Off the Sofa

After accepting the awards, the popular singer-songwriter said, “I’m trying not to be too emotional and I’m trying to just receive this night.” She further thanked her husband, Jay Z, her parents, and children. “I’d like to thank the queer community for your love and for inventing this genre,” she added. 

Rihanna’s MD clashed with Beyonce ahead of the Super Bowl 

The legendary singer Rihanna is all set to make her first live performance in several years at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show. Adam Blackstone teamed up with her as the Music Director of her performance. Moreover, Blackstone clashed against Beyonce at the Grammys under the category ‘Best Traditional R&B Performance’ for his song Round Midnight. However, he lost to Beyonce as the legendary singer went on to create history.
