Michael Jordan is a six-time NBA champion. The NBA community has often regarded him as the best player in the world of all time. MJ has achieved a lot in his basketball career not just on the court but even off it. Credits of a lot of his success goes to his teammates.

Having legendary teammates like Scotty Pippen, Dennis Rodman and Toni Kukoč, who were even inducted into the hall of fame, clearly shows the contribution to MJ’s life. However, many believe that MJ does not give enough credit to his teammates and even demean them. A similar thing had happened, it seems, in 1997, where MJ unloaded his frustrations on one of his legendary teammates.

Michael Jordan reveals his teammate’s actual height

Going back to 1997, in an interview with Jay Leno on the Tonight’s show, MJ vented about Rodman. First, when asked about Dennis, MJ talked about his lifestyle and made a bit of light fun of it. He said that Dennis was trying to figure out his penalties, what to wear, and then Dennis would think of other things. However, other things here were important for MJ, as it was a contract extension with the Bulls this time.

So, MJ relieved a bit of frustration while talking about it. Furthermore, he went on to admire him as well. He said that he was the best rebounder in the world. While talking about this, MJ actually revealed an interesting detail about Dennis Rodman. While everyone thought that he might be 6’9” or something, MJ said that he actually was just 6’6” and talking about the height predicted, he said- “That’s when he’s wearing heels.” Later, he also said, “Don’t tell him I said that.”

Dennis Rodman was one of the most important teammates of MJ and is also regarded as the best rebounder of all time. He was also the most interesting teammate that Jordan ever had. He used to do things differently and lived his life according to his wish. Although his teammates had no problem with that, it seems that MJ would get frustrated at Rodman.This actually shows that both of them shared a very healthy and sharing bond.
