The $15 Million Highland Park Mansion That Michael Jordan Could Not Sell for 10 Years Has Finally Sparked Some Buyer Interest

Due to his massive success in NBA as well as his off-court ventures, the former Chicago Bulls superstar Michael Jordan has purchased many properties throughout his career.

When we examine Jordan’s purchases over the years, the list won’t end soon. As an example of one of his purchases, he bought an 11-bedroom, 28,000-square-foot mansion for $12.4 million in Jupiter, Florida. Furthermore, he has paid an astounding $3.14 million for a top-floor penthouse at a downtown Charlotte condominium in 2010.

Similarly, Jordan also has a 32,683 square-foot mansion in Highland Park that had been on the market for ten years and is currently for sale. In 2012, the property was listed for sale.

Listing agent Katherine Malkin of Compass reveals a few interesting facts about the property to Elite Street. As she said: “We actually have quite a bit of (buyer) interest in it right now.

She continued by mentioning that through the years there have been a lot of buyers who are interested in the property as follows: “I’m not sure if it’s because of the TV programs that they did (the 2020 “The Last Dance” documentary) or if it’s because people have an interest in looking at it a little bit differently.

With a total of 15 full bathrooms and 4 half bathrooms in this contemporary-style home, there is a regulation-sized basketball gym if you are a basketball fan. In addition, the mansion also has an infinity pool and a cigar room.

A total of 56,000 square feet of living space is available on the property. Moreover, the garage has enough room for 15 cars, which includes a basement. And if that wasn’t enough, the property also includes a tennis court.

Even though this property lost value and was falling in price, the documentary that aired on Netflix may have attracted some buyers, since this mansion has everything a basketball or Jordan fan could possibly want.

The rising price at which Jordan’s property is getting in the market makes it more valuable day by day. Malkin mentioned that property provides everything you need, including a nearby forest preserve, and not only a living base. This makes it even more valuable.
