“The Internet Is F*cking Trash”: Feminist Stephen Curry Causes Massive Uproar As His College Degree Thesis Splits The Internet

Stephen Curry might be one of the best shooters of all time, but he too isn’t immune from trolls on social media. Curry is one of the biggest names in the sport now and that comes with a few responsibilities, which include some amount of contribution to the community.

Hence, he decided to set an example by completing his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Davidson College in North Carolina. His final thesis shocked these kinds of fans. What was the thesis about? Advancing gender equity through sports.

This subject riled up fans of a certain kind. But sense did prevail as other fans defended him and his choice of the subject he did a thesis on.

Stephen Curry finishing college

Curry finishing his degree came as news to a lot of fans. He initially attended the college from 2006-to 09 and played for their basketball team. He played three seasons with the Wildcats and needed to complete just one more semester to earn his degree. Curry didn’t complete his senior year as he declared for the 2009 NBA Draft. The three-time NBA champion re-enrolled in the course for the spring semester.  He studied for the program closely with current and former professors.

He, was, then able to complete the course and will get his degree along with the class of 2022. A commencement ceremony took place but he wasn’t able to attend it due to prior commitments. The college has stated that it looks forward to an opportunity in the future to give the degree personally on campus to him.

Small controversies aside, Curry has had a good week. The Golden State Warriors have advanced to the Western Conference Finals after three years. He, too, has found his touch.  He scored an average of 26 points against the Memphis Grizzlies, with almost six assists per game. Curry led his team to a 4-2 series win over Memphis.  It was a close series but Golden State will be relieved that they have gone through.

Warriors will now face a Luka Doncic led Dallas Mavericks who are flying high after their crushing win over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday. Curry against Doncic will be a sight to see for fans of the sport. But, the Warriors still hold a little edge over the Mavericks. Who will win? Only time can tell.
