NBA Legends of the 90s are still one of the most popular basketball players out there. Even though they retired in the 90s, millions of fans still recognize them, not only in the United States but all around the world. One of them is Magic Johnson, a Lakers legend who got a surprise visit when he was in Monaco on vacation.

Magic, who has been on vacation for some time now made a stop at Monaco. He has been on a tour of Greece and other surrounding countries. He is still very popular around here and fans were gathering to get a glimpse of him.

And when he stopped at Monaco, the police captain met him and requested to sign a jersey and a few other items. Magic was more than happy to do so, and he even took a photo with the captain. Magic said, “I had a nice surprise after my workout this morning! The Monaco Police Captain was waiting for me with my jersey and other items for me to sign.”

In the past, Magic has also been seen with Samuel L. Jackson. The duo are good friends and take a vacation almost every year. There are other friends and family members as well and they take a yacht to visit beautiful Mediterranean cities.

Lakers legend Magic Johnson may be on vacation but he is still very busy

Magic, who has been retired for over 20 years now, is still a very busy man. He is a very successful businessman and has many companies to take care of. A few years ago, he was appointed the president of basketball operations for the Los Angeles Lakers. He was instrumental in the Lakers reducing the salary cap and he acquired several star young talents like Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and Kyle Kuzma.

Johnson was also instrumental in getting LeBron James to Los Angeles. Even though they couldn’t reach the playoffs in 2019, Magic left the team due to differences. Regardless, the young talent he acquired was needed to secure Anthony Davis. The Lakers won the title the year they traded for Anthony Davis.
