LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers to trade Anthony Davis? This trade possibility has remained a hot topic for the past few weeks. And now a team has come forth as the most likely prospect of the AD trade with the Lakers. According to recent reports, the New York Knicks are currently looking for the next available superstar to join their roster. Possible prospects on the list are said to include Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
The New York Knicks have lost eight games out of the 16 they have played so far this season. Given the fairly poor run, the franchise is looking for ways to improve its chances in the season and ahead. According to NBA Insider Sean Deveney, the Knicks are keeping an eye out for a possible trade that would improve the team roster. They already have a few NBA stars in mind that include the Los Angeles Lakers‘ Anthony Davis.

The Lakers currently have one of the worst records in the league. Since the season began, the purple and gold team has played 14 games and won only four so far, leaving them 14th in the Western Conference table. With the Lakers showing no signs of improvement, trade rumors began floating around the NBA world. The Lakers haven’t yet confirmed if AD is available for trade or not. However, if he is, then it would mean that LeBron James would mostly have to bear the load despite having Russell Westbrook.

Similarly, Kevin Durant’s trade speculations have been going on for some time as well. Evidently, the Knicks are not the only ones interested in Durant. The Philadelphia 76ers had earlier shown interest in a KD trade, and according to Deveney, they might ask about KD once again.
