Scottie Pippen expressed dissatisfaction with the way he was treated by his former head coach and went as far as labeling?Jordan as “selfish,” despite acknowledging Jordan’s immense basketball prowess.
When asked about the possibility of reuniting with former team members, Scottie Pippen firmly stated, “No. Stacey, you’ve been around Michael. You’ve been around Phil. I just, you know, their egos are huge, and I don’t bow down to people like that.”
Pippen explicitly expressed his disinterest in collaborating with Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson in any capacity. This standpoint was unexpected, considering the significant achievements they had accomplished together in the realm of basketball. Despite Phil Jackson’s remarkable coaching success and numerous NBA titles, he failed to earn Pippen’s respect.
