NBA veterans Kwame Brown and Gilbert Arenas have a history together. They played together for two years for the Washington Wizards. Coming into the league after two years in college, Arenas was not a superstar name. The Golden State Warriors drafted Arenas in the second round of the 2001 NBA draft. On the other hand, Brown was a superstar coming straight out of high school with a huge hype in the same year. And the Wizards selected Brown as the #1 pick. However, things did not go as most expected.
Many consider Brown as one of the worst first overall picks ever. Despite only being drafted in the second round, Arenas soon became a superstar in the league. He then joined the Wizards in 2003. During their time together, Arenas and Brown did not have the best of relationships. A heated argument between the two once required police intervention.

In a recent video, Brown called out his former teammate. He said, “This clown[Arenas] said she[Brittney Griner] not really locked up because she like the Kobe Bryant over there. That n**** think playing basketball get you out of everything boy.”
Arenas also alleged that this might not be the first time Griner was arrested in Russia. “Rumor is this ain’t her first time being arrested in Russia. Let’s just say she is the queen of Russia. So whatever she wants, she gets,” he said.
