From playing together in college at Villanova to playing for the same NBA team, luck has favored both Brunson and his former Wildcats teammate Josh Hart. After demolishing the Cleveland Cavaliers to advance to the Conference Semi-Finals, the Knicks duo’s post-game antics have left the fans in shambles.

Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson went to work in the first round against Donovan Mitchell and co. to demolish them 4-1. Seems like the celebrations started early in New York. However, their ‘chicken wings’ antics after the Game 5 road win stand as the highlight on the internet.

Knicks guard’s post-game antics go viral 

Jalen Brunson and Co. made sure they took care of the Cavs in Cleveland in Game 5. With 23 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, Brunson put an end to Donovan Mitchell’s title hopes. The 26-year-old has led the team all season after joining from the Dallas Mavericks last summer. Working alongside his father Rick Brunson, who is the assistant coach of the Knicks, Jalen Brunson has made a huge impact.

However, that is not the only connection that is shining. Ahead of the trade deadline in February, Josh Hart was traded by the Portland Trail Blazers to the Knicks. Hart was one of the crucial pieces added to the Knicks ahead of the postseason. The 6’3 guard’s hustle in the first round has been impeccable, grabbing huge offensive rebounds and hitting clutch daggers. Both the Villanova alumni continue to shine together again in the NBA.

Following the huge series win, Hart decided to celebrate the win by treating himself with chicken wings. However, Brunson did not like his teammate munching it next to him on the mic. The 6’2 guard mentioned to Hart, “Don’t do this again bro…just stop”, as he shook his head. However, Hart replied, “I’m just eating…What you mad at me for?”
