The game between the Charlotte Hornets and the New Orleans Pelicans may have been one of the most disappointing games in the Hornets’ history. An image captured from the Hornets-Pelicans game has been circulating on social media wherein the entire Hornets bench could not be seen anywhere. This has led fans to slam majority owner and Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan once again on social media.
Michael Jordan has been facing a lot of heat lately over his decision to part ways with the Hornets franchise. Though many fans are relieved that Jordan is selling the team, the recent picture might have added to the misery.
A new low for the Charlotte Hornets

As for the game between the Hornets and the Pelicans, injuries forced a lot of players to exit the game early. This led to the image captured where no player could be seen sitting on the Charlotte Hornets‘ bench.
Though the game started with 10 Hornets’ players listed to play, three had to leave the game before the final buzzer. Point guard Dennis Smith Jr. left the game during the third quarter as he was not feeling well.

Hornets’ forward Kelly Oubre Jr. made his exit from the game in the second quarter. He was sidelined after suffering a strain in the shoulder which ruled him out for the remainder of the game. As for their leading scorer Terry Rozier, he too had to leave due to some discomfort in his foot. This left the Hornets extremely shorthanded, with only two players on their bench.

As for the image, it was captured when the two bench players were getting ready to check into the game. This momentarily led to fans witnessing a completely empty bench for the Hornets in New Orleans.
