One of the most entertaining teams in the NBA is the Golden State Warriors. The team is not short of superstars with players like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green playing for them. If their gameplay wasn’t entertaining enough, in a recent matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers, the team brought out cult hero Jackie Moon.

Jackie Moon makes an appearance with the Golden State Warriors
During their latest match against the Clippers, the Warriors had a surprise under their belt. Hollywood actor Will Ferrell decided to join the team in their pre-match workout as Jackie Moon.
Jackie Moon is the owner, player, and coach for the fictional basketball team Flint Tropics playing in the ABA. Interestingly enough, Klay Thompson is a big fan of Moon. He famously dressed up as Moon for Halloween three years ago and the pic sent shock waves across the internet.

Moreover, Thompson is usually seen sporting a headband similar to that of Jackie Moon. The actor sported a vintage-style jersey, shorts, and iconic headbands before the game.
Although we might not see Moon in action in a real game, the crowd got a taste of his skills. He took shots with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson and also managed to put a shot in from mid-court. Furthermore, Moon showed his technique with a couple of underhand free throws.

When asked about his experience with the Golden State Warriors, Moon said, “I’m under contract. So this is the very first tryout with the team, let’s see what happens.”
