On Friday night, the Memphis Grizzlies outmatched the Phoenix Suns in a 125-100 win. The Grizzlies’ win was led by an all-round team performance with six players registering points in the double digits. On the other end, the Phoenix Suns struggled to find momentum while their star Devin Booker sat out due to groin soreness. For the Grizzlies, it was undoubtedly a massive boost in confidence and the post-game interviews were a witness to this.

Grizzlies star Dillon Brooks trash-talked to an injured Devin Booker during the game. In the post-game interview, Brooks revealed the content of his not-so-friendly conversation. The Grizzlies face the Suns’ on Tuesday night again and Brooks wants the three-time All-Star to play against him. He desperately wants to defend against the Suns’ star. While referring to Booker’s 58-point game in New Orleans, Brooks said, “I hope he plays in the M [Memphis] so I can guard him because he ain’t scoring 50 on me”. Brooks’ bold claim left NBA Twitter in shambles.
