The 2021-22 NBA champions Golden State Warriors recently made their trip to the White House amidst much fanfare. The winning team was invited by POTUS Joe Biden and the stars were out in all their glory. Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and every other member of the team were present. While it was a memorable occasion for most, the same might not apply to Klay Thompson.
POTUS Joe Biden made a hilarious mistake while acknowledging the Warriors’ Big Three. Biden couldn’t seem to remember Klay’s name at the moment which has left NBA Twitter in splits.

During the ceremony, POTUS Joe Biden made a blunder and forgot to acknowledge Klay Thompson while talking about the Warriors’ Big Three. Biden said, “We imagine the team around the Big Three, Steph, Draymond and…..”
To be fair, Biden isn’t as well-versed in basketball as former POTUS Barack Obama. He was an ardent fan of basketball and he was very enthusiastic about the game.
Needless to say, this botch has sent NBA fans into a frenzy. Here’s what the fans had to say on Twitter.
This is pathetic. Every day another one. He makes George Bush sound like Shakespeare.

Klay is gonna be on the Draymond pod talking about this disrespect. “I have 4 rings Joe”

Actually sounded as if he wanted to move away from pointing out just the 3 and turn and show appreciation to the rest of the teammates….. You might not see it that deeply.

Considering he took Stephen Curry’s name, it is difficult to forget his fellow Splash Bro, Klay Thompson. Leaving all blunders aside, it was a great day for the Warriors and their fans as they celebrate their historic 2021-22 NBA title.
Thompson returned back after 3 years to help the Warriors win the title
The four-time NBA champion injured himself during the 2019 NBA finals against the Toronto Raptors which eventually led to their loss. He was out for 941 days during which the Warriors evidently struggled.
