After days of speculation, it is now confirmed that Kyrie Irving is joining the Dallas Mavericks. Fans had been calling for this move the moment Irving officially requested a trade. Despite the odds tipping in favor of the Los Angeles Lakers, the Mavs acted quickly and landed Irving’s signature. Luka Doncic and Irving will be sharing the stage for the first time and this has the NBA world buzzing. Recently, video clips of Irving in Dallas along with the Mav’s executives surfaced on the internet.

In the video, the fans and the media gather around Irving and Markieff Morris. This has got fans talking about the constant lack of privacy Kyrie Irving and other NBA stars face on a regular basis. Not only the NBA fans, but the video clip also caught the eye of Shaquille O’Neal.

Kyrie Irving lands in Dallas and the NBA world is quick to react

Talking about seeing Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving together in one team seemed very unrealistic just months ago. With Irving falling out with the Nets‘ management and eventually joining the Mavs, the unthinkable has happened. This naturally has fanbases across the world talking. 

Fans recently reacted to a video clip that shows the Mavs GM Nico Harrison welcoming Irving and Markieff Morris, who also was a part of the deal. Interestingly, even NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal shared the clip on his Instagram story.

One fan wrote, “who just found out Markieff was part of the deal” while another user wrote, “He’ll request a trade by April.” While many fans bantered around the deal and Irving, some fans touched upon how NBA stars cant do things normally.

A fan wrote, “It’s sad that he can’t walks to the store without cameras in his face” with another user commenting, “He’s probably sick of everything he does getting blown out of proportion as if he’s a stone cold killer lol” and another comment read, “This is what LeBron has to deal with x1000 if he decides to stop and get a Starbucks”.
