The world got a weekly glimpse of one of the most iconic fashion families. However, they are probably almost equally popular for their connection with the NBA. Likewise, a former player from the league gave them the biggest jump possible which helped Kim Kardashian and her sisters kickstart their empire.

Kris Humphries is a former NBA veteran. He last stepped foot on the court in 2016. However, off the court, Humphries was gaining popularity rapidly. Notably, he was getting married to supermodel Kim Kardashian. While their marriage lasted just 72 days, Humphries got many eyes during his appearances on the show at the time.

Many iconic moments surrounded the pair. Notably, Humphries even threw his to-be wife into the ocean. This single moment gave rise to one of the biggest memes.

And it wasn’t just one. Humphries was responsible for countless moments that got the entire audience hooked up.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ wedding is the biggest hit on the show. In a finale spread over two episodes, the pair tied the knot in 2011. The NBA player even had a romantic proposal planned. He wrote ‘Will You Marry Me?’ in rose petals for Kim. The gesture won her heart over, but it wasn’t just the Kardashians who melted. To this day, Humphries’ proposal remains to be the most watched episode in the 20 seasons of the show.
