Inside The NBA has become the show fans have come to adore. They have a humorous dynamic, memorable moments, but most importantly, the perfect crew. Among the four celebs, Charles Barkley is considered to be the candid analyst who won’t hold back on anything. He does it by being unapologetic, standing tall on his berating takes. However, while he embarrasses NBA players today, there was a time he was at the other end of the spectrum.
During a recent interview, the Phoenix Suns legend broke down a few myths surrounding his career. But this one thing might leave you feeling nauseous.

Charles Barkley went above and beyond for his lips
It’s not like we haven’t seen Barkley do something questionable on national television before. In fact, he almost frequently makes the crew laugh at his own expense. It feels like yesterday when a clip of his went viral. Live on national television with cameras capturing all his motions, he licked his phone screen. What’s more, is that he saw nothing wrong, the Chuckster said – “That’s how I clean my phone.”

Oh yes, the fanbase was sickened by his unusual cleaning methods. But that begs the question – is that the worst Charles Barkley habit? We might have a contender.
It was years ago that a good friend of Sir Charles, NBA legend Karl Malone, revealed an astonishing habit of his. He told Shaquille O’Neal and the TNT crew how the Suns icon would keep Vaseline on his belly button. It served the purpose of keeping his lips from drying up. All this time, fans have wondered if it was a myth. Well, House of Highlights shared a clip of the man himself addressing the rumors.

One can only imagine what the Vaseline went through every night. Just how was it affected by the heat from Barkley’s body, given he applied it while playing? On the bright side, it likely is the last of the TNT analyst’s questionable actions. Charles Barkley wore his habits proudly. Didn’t matter if it was applying Vaseline on his stomach or licking the phone, the 60-year-old saw nothing wrong.
