He has invested in everything from car washes to restaurants and has also owned a stake in an NBA franchise, now worth $2.6 billion. Although he sold his stake three years ago, admittedly with a heavy heart, the Big Diesel recently made it clear that he’s not done with buying NBA teams just yet.

Shaquille O’Neal had to part ways with the Sacramento Kings with a heavy heart

Shaq became a partial owner of the Sacramento Kings in 2013. Back then the valuation of the franchise was around $534 million. By the time Shaq sold his stakes, the Kings were valued at $1.8 billion. With the experience he already has from his time with the Kings, Shaq’s next tenure should be easier. It is worth noting that Michael Jordan is the only Black majority owner in the NBA currently. If Shaq joins him on this list, it will be historic to say the least.
