Over the years, Dorell Wright, Dwyane Wade, and LeBron James have maintained a strong relationship off the court with their families getting together to celebrate their many successes. This year marks the 15th birthday of ex-Miami Heat forward Dorell Wright’s son, Devin, and the special occasion had ‘The King’ lamenting time. While LeBron has defied father time on the court, this moment made him contemplate the passage of time.

Dorell Wright’s wife, Mia posted some throwback videos and photos of her son on the occasion of his 15th birthday. In one of the clips, a 3-year-old Devin can be seen revealing his favorite players in the NBA. He named LeBron James, Udonis Haslem, and Dwyane Wade as his favorites due to all of them playing with his father for the Miami Heat at the time.

He further referred to Wade as his ‘Godfather’. James shared this on his social media handle while lamenting time passing so quickly. As he has turned 38 years old, he did get an age reality check through this.

In the Instagram story, he mentioned, ?Man that boy dun got huge!!! I remember him back at 3 years old too! Man time please slow the hell down.? Similarly, Wade shared the story as well, wishing him a wonderful birthday. As well as this, his father shared several videos and pictures of the memories they’ve shared together on his Instagram account.?

While LeBron was emotional sharing the clip of Devin, Mia Wright found it hard to hide her emotions as well. She shared a beautiful post, showing the journey the family made together from his birth to now seeing him play basketball like his father.

Accordingly, she captioned, ?Devin, so you?re just gonna turn 15 huh?! To see you in your teenage glory, challenging yourself physically and mentally, learning to observe and respond accordingly to adversity, all while doing typical silly teenage bullshit? is truly my heart?s pure joy!??

Throughout Wright’s career, he showcased great performance with teams such as the Heat, Golden State Warriors, and others. During this time, he formed many great bonds with players such as James and Wade. While Wright rarely shared the court with James, the duo built a strong friendship, in no part thanks to Wade.
