The Los Angeles Lakers LeBron James was on the frontline of some brutal opinions about his latest movie “Space Jam: A New Legacy”. Although not all reviews have been bad, Bron is known to have a lot of haters who jump at the opportunity to pull him down. However, now LBJ has some statistics to back his success as Space Jam just surpassed Marvel’s “Black Widow” in the box office. In fact, he didn’t waste any time to hit his haters back with some facts.
LeBron James trolls his haters
After Warner Bros’ successful Space Jam film with Michael Jordan back in 1996, the sequel was being planned ever since. However, the film never got the green light for various reasons, the biggest one being MJ refusing to participate. But thanks to LeBron James, the production started up again and the film was released just a few days back.

As per Deadlines, “Space Jam: A New Legacy—had a four-point shot at the box office yesterday, with $13.1M at 3,965 theaters, for what will be a $32M opening weekend. The results squash the second Friday and anticipated weekend of Disney/Marvel’s Black Widow, which did $8M yesterday.
“One of the worst Friday-to-Friday drops for a recent standalone origin MCU title at -80%, on its way to a $25.6M second weekend, a -68% drop. no thanks to the film’s availability in homes on Disney+ Premier for $29.99.”
So, Bron couldn’t help but share this news on his Twitter account as a response to all his critics. In fact, his cryptic message included a, “Hi Haters” that left his fans in awe.

Space Jame 2: A blockbuster?
Although it hasn’t met with the best reviews, the statistics speak for themselves. However, this isn’t James’ first appearance in Hollywood. From his voiceover in “Small foot” to a cameo in “Trainwreck”, the NBA superstar is adept with how the entertainment industry works. And with all the attention comes criticism as well. But LBJ isn’t ashamed to give it back to all his critics and never has been.
