NFL superstar Tom Brady is considered to be the GOAT of the game by fans around the world. Not just fans, a lot of celebrities have the same opinion. Brady has won 7 Super Bowls in his long and illustrious career. He has won the Super Bowl MVP on five occasions and the NFL MVP award three times. After he won his fifth Super Bowl with the New England Patriots in 2017, superstars like LeBron James, Serena Williams, and Michael Phelps showered him with praises.

In Super Bowl LI, the New England Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons with a scoreline of 34-28. Tom Brady led the Patriots to one of the greatest comebacks of all time from a 25-point deficit to win it all in overtime.

This was also the first-ever Super Bowl to go to overtime. Brady completed 43 of 62 passes for 466 yards and two touchdowns, with one interception, while also rushing for 15 yards.

LeBron James about Tom Brady

LeBron James’ name always comes up when it comes to the GOAT discussion in the NBA. While his game is different from Michael Jordan’s, James’ longevity, versatility, and durability have made him a strong contender for the title over the years.

“To see Tom playing some of the best football anybody has ever seen at any age, that’s very inspiring. What we’re chasing isn’t just about being great,” James said. “What we’re chasing is about being the greatest of all time.”

LeBron James himself is a champion in his own right. He has won four NBA titles and was named the Finals MVP on all four occasions. The Lakers star has also won the NBA MVP award four times and the all-star MVP award three times.

Serena Williams and Michael Phelps heap praise on Brady  

When it comes to durability, and longevity in tennis, Serena Williams comes to mind. She has been doing it since the 1990s. She has won 23 Grand Slam titles which makes her the second all time. Williams has also won 14 Grand Slam Doubles titles in her career.

“The hardest part about sustaining greatness over a period of time is people wanting to catch up with you and you having to do things better, you having to surprise people,” Williams said. “You have to — every year — go out and say, ‘I’ve got to do something different, because they’re coming for me.'”

This applies to Tom Brady in terms of his running ability. During the first 12 years of his career, running wasn’t a part of his offensive arsenal. But later, it has become something of a secret weapon for him. Brady had to continually develop over the years to be on top of the league. And that is easier said than done.

Michael Phelps is the most decorated Olympian ever. He has won 28 Olympic medals with a mind-boggling number of 23 gold medals. When talking about Brady, Phelps said, “You watch Tom Brady, there’s no way he backs down from a challenge,”
